We are so glad you found us! Did you receive a booklet called “Do You Believe in Miracles?” from someone who cares about you? The person who cared enough to give it to you wanted you to know about God’s kingdom and God’s family. If another child or an adult gave you the booklet, you’ll want to talk to your father or mother for permission before making any phone calls or sending any emails to the person.
If your father or mother gives you permission to call or email that person, they should be able to help you learn about God’s kingdom and God’s family. If your father or mother doesn’t allow you, or if that person can’t help you, then just read below. What is written below includes the words from the booklet, and then additional information to learn more about God’s kingdom and God’s family.
——–Beginning of booklet——— What if someone told you something amazing was going to happen, and it happened just like they said? Wouldn’t that be a miracle?
A long, long time ago, a man named Daniel lived and described amazing things that were going to happen in the future. He wrote about 4 different kingdoms. One was ruling, and each of the next kingdoms was going to beat the others. During the 4th kingdom, Daniel wrote that the kingdom of God would arrive. It would start small and begin to spread across the entire world.
Daniel also wrote about the King of God’s kingdom. He wrote about the time when the King of God’s kingdom would be killed. Daniel wrote about how this King, who would be killed, had the power to forgive everything you have ever done wrong. This King would lead a different kingdom. Instead of fighting people, this kingdom is for saving people.
The King’s name that Daniel wrote about is Jesus, the Christ (from the word Christmas). Jesus arrived just when Daniel said He would and announced the Kingdom of God. Jesus talked about His kingdom for only 3 ½ years in a very small area of the world, called Israel. There were no phones, TVs, or computers back then. Yet people all over the world now call Jesus their King! Even though Jesus was killed, he rose from the dead and is alive forever (which is why we celebrate Easter)!
When Jesus rose from the dead, many millions were worshipping the fake gods of their time. Now, there are only a few thousand who still think those fake gods are real. The 120 people who followed Jesus at the time of His resurrection have grown to include over a billion people all over the world. Isn’t that a miracle?
If that is not enough for you to believe, think of this: Imagine the meanest person you’ve ever seen. Imagine that suddenly they became the nicest person. That’s what happened to a man named Saul who became known as Paul. He first wanted all people who followed Jesus to be in jail or to die. Then, suddenly, after seeing Jesus alive, he started telling everyone that Jesus is alive and is King of the world. He told them that Jesus created everything they could see, even them! He told them that Jesus loves them more than anyone else. Then people began to hurt Paul badly again and again, but he still kept telling everyone that Jesus loved them and would forgive them for all the bad things they had done.
What should you do if King Jesus loves you, made you, and calls you to follow Him?
When Jesus made the world, He wanted people to live in peace. But since the beginning, people have disobeyed Him. You probably know it’s wrong to hurt others, lie, and steal. Did you know that thinking bad thoughts about others is also bad? Being sorry about that isn’t enough. Jesus died for everything you’ve done wrong. You need to ask for His forgiveness, and you need to forgive everyone who has done bad things to you. When you follow Jesus as King, He forgives you, and you become part of His big family.
If you don’t believe in or follow Jesus, you will be on the path toward destruction. If you believe and follow Jesus as King and Savior, then you will receive His love and forgiveness. What will you do?

Ø Jesus healed a woman who had been bleeding for many years.
Ø Jesus told people the very thoughts they were thinking.
Ø Jesus healed a man who couldn’t move so that he was completely well and could move again.
Ø Jesus calmed a storm that was raging on the water.
Ø Jesus walked on the water of a deep lake.
Ø Jesus called to a man in a tomb who had been dead for 4 days, and that man, named Lazarus, then became alive again!
Ø Jesus made blind people see.
Ø Jesus made deaf people hear.
Ø Jesus healed people who couldn’t talk so they could speak.
Ø Jesus healed people with horrible skin diseases so that their skin was healthy again.
Ø Jesus healed people who had evil spirits that were hurting them.
Jesus didn’t do all these miracles to show off or impress people. He did these things so that people would know that He loves them and is the true King and Savior of the world. He is the one who created everything and everyone. He wants you to know how much He loves you. He wants you to believe in Him. He wants you to trust Him. He wants you to follow Him, obeying the things that he teaches. Will you become part of His family?
