We are a group of those who follow King Jesus, who came as God in the Flesh and His coming utterly changed the world we live in. Jesus is the Christ (Messiah) and the King of all kings, and we are His humble servants. We are from a variety of congregations that still consider the Bible to be God’s word (and God’s word is the final authority concerning Jesus and His church, His family, who are a part of His Kingdom). In the 21st century, the word “Christian” has lost its meaning. Christian means “Follower of Christ,” yet, in America, a recent survey indicated nearly two-thirds of the nation identify as a Christian. We can assure you that nowhere close to two-thirds of America is faithfully following Jesus. You are not a Christian based on what you intellectually understand; you are a true Christian if you believe and follow Jesus as King, as Lord. He is the Savior for all who believe and follow Him. According to the Bible, you cannot be a Christian and choose Jesus only as Savior (but neglect to follow Him as Lord).
We were once in the kingdom of darkness. When King Jesus sacrificially died and rose from the grave, He provided the way, the only way (through Him) to be delivered from darkness into the kingdom of God. When we believed in His great work and repented (changed our direction toward Jesus) to follow Him as King, we received His great salvation and entrance into His kingdom. We became part of God’s family.
That’s why, in the Bible, the church is the collection of people who serve King Jesus. The church is not a building. It’s not a denomination. The people who serve King Jesus are on every continent, speak different languages, and are found in a variety of congregations. Two people, who follow King Jesus and meet in a coffee shop to pray, are a representation of the church. A small group that follows King Jesus, and meets at someone’s home to study the Bible is a representation of the church. A group of people who serve King Jesus and sing songs or listen to the preaching or teaching of God’s word in a building is a representation of the church. We, as followers of King Jesus, are a representation of His church, His Kingdom, and His family. If you are not in His kingdom, it is our hope and prayer that you choose to follow Jesus as King and become part of His Kingdom and His family. So, we are followers of King Jesus and wish to give Him all the honor, glory, and praise. We are not a church organization or a denomination, though we, collectively, are part of a variety of local church congregations. Unfortunately, many church congregations have abandoned some or many of the Bible’s teachings, and so we are a group who desires to connect you with other members of God’s family to help you faithfully follow King Jesus and effectively live in His kingdom, the only everlasting kingdom!
